13U Legends is designed to introduce players to the “big field”, getting them acclimated to the 60’6″ distance from the mound and 90′ baselines. Most of the players arrive at this division with years of experience already, but the challenges they face moving into this division are a major adjustment. The 13U team is led by Coach Jared Mouton, former infielder for Frostburg State University, and Myles Nicholson, former MiLB utility player for the Frederick Keys, both of whom possess the experience necessary to prepare these young men for continued growth in their game. Players also receive specialized coaching or pitching and hitting from professional and collegiate players who are excellent teachers of the game. The 13U Legends play a highly competitive schedule and will travel outside the DMV to gain experience playing against top teams from other regions of the country.
