Pioneer Legends is an opportunity for baseball players to hone their existing skills, develop new skills, and build their baseball IQ against other competitive baseball teams in the DC area. The focus at 12U is to continue to build upon the skills learned in the House Ball Division to ensure a strong foundation of correct baseball skills not just for competing at this age level, but for future growth. Our goal is to create a strong team community and foster an environment that challenges each kid at their own level.
Our goal is to build well-rounded ball players. At this level, players will not remain static in their positions. Players will be given an opportunity to learn and succeed at numerous positions, including pitching and catching. Players comfortable in their position will be exposed to advanced techniques and baseball strategies. Not all ball players develop at the same time or in the same order. Getting the best of out each player means consistently evaluating a player’s growth. Those that work hard, bring a good attitude, and are willing to try new things will be rewarded.
