COACH PITCH DIVISION

Just one division up from T-Ball, the Pioneer Coach Pitch Division is geared towards players ages 5-6, who have completed at least one season of T-Ball. Players at the Coach Pitch level should be prepared for coach-thrown pitches at the start of the season. Sportsmanship, fun, engagement, enthusiasm are stressed while simultaneously introducing players to more rules of the game and age-appropriate activities. While your player is having fun playing in highly interactive practices and games, they will be learning and improving their rudimentary technical skills. No score is kept during games but players are introduced to “outs,” both while playing defense and batting. The elements of base running, throwing, hitting, and catching/fielding continue to be taught in a fun and safe environment.
