The Legends 8U team is part of the Pioneer Baseball League’s travel program, offering young athletes a chance to compete at high levels while representing their community. The Legends program focuses on skill development through competitive play and includes opportunities for players to compete at district, state, and national levels. The 8U team, like other Legends teams, participates in Cal Ripken-sanctioned events under the Babe Ruth League, helping players grow both on and off the field through community service and a commitment to teamwork.
The 2023-2024 Legends 8U team saw half of its players advance to the 9U division while the other half remained in 8U, continuing to build on the team’s previous accomplishments. These achievements are credited to the collective effort of these young athletes, many of whom were part of the team that grew together in the previous season, developing both their baseball skills and teamwork. This team consisted of Alek, Jackson, Lincoln, Logan, Lucas, Luke, Oliver, Phoenix, Pierson, Ryder, Sullivan & Turner.
