A family’s first introduction to baseball, the Pioneer T-Ball Division focuses on fun, fitness, and fundamentals in a supportive team environment. Typically for first-time players ages 4-5, T-ball’s goal is to develop and grow the child’s love of the game. The basic principles of base running, throwing, hitting, and catching are taught in an enjoyable and safe environment. Having fun is emphasized as much as learning the fundamentals. Hitting is taught using a tee with the hope that players’ abilities progress throughout the season. T-Ball is the perfect starting level for your player, especially if this is their first attempt or their first organized sport activity.
